This is the last post! And I will make comments about my experience with the english.  I think that learn englisgh at university was right. This semester, the blogs made the class more interactive, because I can read the posts of my classmates and they could read mine, and this is so useful, because we can to practice writing and comprehension.  The biggest problem that I have with the language are the verbal tense. Sometimes I get confused or I forget which is better for the phrase that I am writing, reading or saying. The best way to solve this  think is to keep practicing, seeing movies with subtitles, or keep reading texts in english, like newspaper and magazine articles, and pay attention to the verb tenses, I think that I can improve this problem.  Currently, outside the english class I use a lot the language. I don't speak so much because my friends and family only speak spanish, and I don't know anyone who speaks english, but I am frequently listening en...

Hi everyone! This is the last post, and in this instance I will talk about a person that I admire in the field of anthropology: Edward Sapir. Sapir was an american anthropologist linguist and one of the creators of the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis. He was born in January 26, 1884 in Lauenburg, Prussia, and died in February 4, 1939 in New Haven, Connecticut, USA. Sapir was one of the first of investigate and study the ways in which language and culture influence each other. In 1921 he affirmed that language determines thought. This idea was developed in 1940, by Benjamin Whorf, for this reason born the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis. Sapir has manny books, and the most important (and examples about his work) are " Language: An introduction to the study of speech" (1921)  and "Culture, language and personality" (1949). I admire this anthropologist because give us a different perspective about the anthropology, considering the culture, lenguage, personality, and society at the sam...
Hi everyone, again! today I will write about a subject that I enjoyed to study this semester. I enjoyed so much to studying evolution this semester, because allowed me to understand and learn a lot of things about biology that I never learn before, like primates, phylogeny, cladistic, domestication, genetics, and other interesting areas about the human being and the history through the evolution. Analyzing the content that I liked the most, I thing that is cladistic, for a lot of reasons, First, in the class I didn't undestarnd nothing about it haha, was a real challenge to me. But in the evaluation I learn it so right, and I got almost the maxium calification. This subject, despite to be so difficult, is interesting to me because have a direct relation with physical anthropology, mention that I want to choose and study in the future :) In class, we made a lot of activities to integrate and learn better the subject, like seminars, outdoor activities, meeting with the assistants...

Hi everyone, today I will show you a photograph that I captured in a concert :) The concert was in a saturday night, in october 7, in Bellavista, Santiago. "El Cuarteto de Nos" is an uruguayan band that make a alternative rock and others styles of music. I REALLY LOVE THEM, and I wait so much to see them in a live concert. I like this picture because I like the way or the posture that the vocalist (Roberto) has in the stage hahaha like a rockstar after sing a cool song looking the sky. This picture I love it for another reason more. They have a lot of difficulties to make the concert, because they arrived so late to Santiago this night (airport problems), and the organization (like the sound or others) they make it so fast (in 1 hour) but hey can do it so right, and I enjoy a lot this night, sing the songs make me so happy❤
Hi everyone! Today I will talk about my future, specifically about a postgraduate course. <3 I have a lot of ideas to have in a postgraduate. My dream is make it before that I finish my actual career, anthropology. I have planned to make a postgraduate related to the physical anthropology, I hope specialize in forensic since a lot of time, or something about this area of study. I really want to make this cause I believe that mix anthropology with scientific branches like medicine an biology its an area that I'm passionate about.  I haven't decided where I want to make the postgraduate, but I want to pay it, and I do it in a continuous way, like a university class, because if I study something and I don't constant, I will never finish it. Chile it's an option, but other countries can be so interesting and give me more opportunities, like more options of postgraduate and labor sphere.

Why? because the smartphone has all I need, or all I want. I use it to check instagram, facebook, whatsapp, and other aplications.  My first smartphone it was a mom's gift, in christmas, and I enjoyed it, cause I loved the incorporated games that have it.  Seriously, now the smartphone it's a so important tool to remain comunicated, and help me if I need to know something about the university, or my family, the smartphone fulfill all those functions , and more. Really I would not know what to do without it, cause in the present it's so important for the fast comunication between the whole world.
